Year 2 - Biscuit and Hot Chocolate Sale
Year 2s have been learning about counting in 5s this week. In order to consolidate this, the inspirational Miss Brown and company decided a Hot Chocolate Sale with biscuits would aid the children's understanding and learning. Selling them in multiples of 5s, the children were required to use the correct amount of money to purchase their treats.
Year 2 Scooter Training
On Thursday 1st February, 2018, Jackie and Tracey visited the Year 2s to give them some tips on how to use and look after a scooter. They had lessons on scooter maintenance, wearing bright clothing and handling a scooter safely. The talk lasted roughly 20 minutes and you can see from the photographs how much fun and learning was had by all!

Year 2 had a wonderful (and wet) trip to Burton Agnes Hall where they learnt about the history of the Hall and explored the trees and plants in the garden.
