Persuasive writing - Elgin Marbles

The children are working together to identify the features of a formal letter. They looked at sentence openers, vocabulary used and persuasive techniques. After this session they then wrote their own letter to state whether they thought the Elgin Marbles should stay in London or be returned to Greece.
