Spelling
Spelling is currently taught through the ‘Rising Stars’ scheme as this ensures clear progression throughout the school and that National Curriculum objectives are met. Each week, children are provided with a list of ten spellings which consist of a spelling rule and year group words. These spellings are integrated into daily teaching and a variety of practical and written methods are used in order for spellings to be learnt.
